Alizeti Doula Services helps support women psychologically and physically during prenatal, labor and delivery, and postpartum by providing coaching services to the mother that will empower her to make educated decisions about her birthing choices.

Postpartum

Anyone can have a doula whether one is an anxious mother or a first time mother who feels a need for extra support. Doulas are also great to help dad through labor and delivery as well.  Moms-to-be are often not the only ones who may need extra support.  Doulas are in the room to help fathers remain calm and teach them ways to soothe and support the mother during her birthing journey.

Benefits

Women with doulas have a lower rate of c-sections and epidural use.  They also average a shorter delivery time.  Women with doulas are more likely to be satisfied with their birthing experience and have less stress during delivery.

There is a wide range of cost for doulas.  There are many medical insurances who are now covering the cost of doulas.  Most doulas also have negotiable fees as well.  Read more
